HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani with Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Istanbul yesterday. They discussed bilateral relations and ways to enhance them as well as the current situation in the Middle East, especially the latest developments in Syria. HH the Emir later attended a luncheon hosted by the prime minister. The Emir is on a working visit to Turkey. Earlier yesterday, he held talks with President Abdullah Gul in Ankara.
