The Supreme Council of Health (SCH) has ordered the immediate withdrawal Advil paediatric suspension from the local market.
SCH's Department of Pharmacy and Drug Control has discovered a mistake in the dosage instruction in the the attached pamphlet of the drug's batches J45678, J58139, J89259, J75585, and G17191.
The dealer has been notified to stop the circulation of the affected batches and withdraw them immediately. "The drug is safe for use and it is only a error in the dosage instruction," SCH added in a statement.
