The Ministry of Interior (MoI) has signed a contract with a local company for building the Rescue Police (Al Fazaa) Headquarters.
The contract valued at QR196mn, was signed by Brigadier Engineer Hisham Ibrahim al-Qubaisi, MoI director of Logistics Department. In a statement, MoI said that Al Fazaa headquarters will be located at the Mesaimeer area behind the Mesaimeer Service Centre and it will be built at an estimated cost of QR196,819,877.
The project is made up of six main buildings that include the patrols building, officers club and other facilities and a mosque.
The project also includes a workshop for the repair of vehicles, in addition to some security rooms and other services. It has basement parking and external parking lots enough for around 500 vehicles.
