Qatar Petroleum (QP) participated in the 11th Offshore Mediterranean Conference & Exhibition (OMC 2013), which was held in Ravenna, Italy, last week.
The event was inaugurated by Osama Kamal, Minister of Petroleum in Egypt, Abdulkareem Luaibi, Minister of Oil in Iraq, and Innocenzo Titione, Chairman of OMC 2013, who visited the QP stand. The conference saw the participation of 460 companies from across the world in various fields of the oil and gas sector.
Accompanying Titione during the visit to the QP stand was Ravenna’s Deputy Mayor Giannantonio Mingozzi. A delegation from QP received the dignitaries and briefed them on the company’s latest projects and activities.
The QP stand, which was the biggest in the exhibition, attracted a large number of visitors and delegates who wanted to know more about the company, its current and future activities, operations and major projects.
The theme for this year’s conference was “Charting a course in a changing sea”.
