Hanan thrashed Asian Cricket Club (ACC) by eight wickets in the final of the Bin Ghalib cricket tournament (First Division) at the floodlit Old Ideal Indian School ground.

After winning the toss, Hanan put in ACC to bat. ACC were all out for 75 runs in their 12 overs. Affan was not out on 15 runs with a six while Firoz made 14 with 2 sixes.

Shakeel and Sattar claimed 2 wickets each while Khadar, Parvez, Shyam, Naseer and Nazir took a wicket apiece.
In reply, Hanan easily scored 78 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in 7.1 overs. Imran scored 16 not out with 2 sixes, while Siddu made 14. Aswar and Sandeep scored 13 runs each. Naveed claimed 2 wickets while Mubeen took one.

Imran was declared man of the match, while ACC’s Prasanth was adjudged best batsman of the tournament. Sattar of Hanan bagged the best bowler prize, while Sarfaraz of Qalco was declared the best all-rounder and Nayamat of ACC the best wicket-keeper.

Saquib Raza Khan, Deputy General Manager, Bin Ghalib Engineering, was the chief guest at the prize ceremony.
