Total, a partner of Qatar Racing and Equestrian Club (QREC), is continuing its support for horse racing in Qatar.
In this regard, Total will give people in Qatar the opportunity to discover several aspects of the horse racing world and Qatar Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe Weekend in Paris.
Total has been involved with QREC since 2009 in the sponsorship of the Qatar Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe race. the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe was first run on October 3, 1920.
The legend of the “Arc” has been created over the years with a series of exceptional horses and expert jockeys.
For this edition, Qatar has the chance of winning the race for the first time. Treve, owned by HE Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad al-Thani, won the Qatar Prix Vermeille recently. This victory has pitched Treve as one of the favourites in the Qatar Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe.
