Qatar Steel organised a blood donation drive in its premises in Mesaieed, in co-ordination with HMC’s mobile Blood Transfusion Unit.
Employees from various departments showed good response and high awareness about the importance of blood donation and its positive impact on the
society.
“We believe that such initiatives would contribute to sustaining and encouraging a culture of voluntary work, by spreading awareness about the importance of blood donation and its role in saving the lives of sick and injured, as well as to meet the growing needs of patients through continual blood donation drives,” Qatar Steel said in a statement.
