The Tonino Lamborghini Spyder is making waves at the Doha Jewellery and Watches Exhibition being held at the Qatar National Convention Centre and is the most sought-after product in men’s watches, an official of Pari Gallery said.

This chronograph watch stands out with its black leather band while the bright orange stitching complements the black dial, orange numerals and face. At QR7,000 retail, the Spyder’s sapphire crystal, Swiss-made movement, and water resistant (10ATM) feature makes it the perfect gift.

Pari Gallery head of watches division Bechara Abou Rjeily told Gulf Times that the Lamborghini is one of their best brands being showcased at the Doha exhibit, along with Salvatore Ferragamo, Dunhill, Montegrappa, and Davidoff, among others.

“Lamborghini is one of our major brands, which I first launched here in Doha, followed by Dubai, Lebanon and subsequently the rest of the international market,” Rjeily said.

“They became famous because of their triangle and buffalo logo. And since then, Pari Gallery has been one of the leaders in marketing this brand all over the world. And hopefully, we stay as such,” he added.

Aside from the Spyder, in demand in stores, according to Rjeily, are Lamborghini’s watches, pens and cufflinks, and some leather goods. “But the most sought-after is the Tonino Lamborghini Spyder watch,” he emphasised.

Rjeily noted that their “main focus is watches and they’re doing so well right now. We currently have a promotion running where buyers can get free pens and other accessories with every purchase of Lamborghini watches.”

The official said Pari Gallery is one of the biggest groups in the GCC region. “We started in Dubai, in the 1980s and have 40 branches in the UAE. Our showrooms average 1,500 to 2,000 sq m in size.”

“Our mission is to be one of the leaders in the luxury and retail industry in department stores. We also have 12 branches in Saudi Arabia, four in Doha, Qatar, and one branch in both Syria and Bahrain,” Rjeily said.

In the region, Rjeily said Pari Gallery is home to some 70 brands in watches, men’s accessories, in addition to the 30 brands of leather goods, and some 400 brands of assorted perfume.

“Our showrooms boast of fine jewellery, fashion jewellery, pens, cufflinks, and leather goods from all of the top brands in the industry,” Rjeily said.

According to Rjeily, Pari Gallery always looks forward to joining the annual jewellery and watches exhibition. He said, “We want to thank the organisers of the expo; the venue is highlighted by a very professional layout. Most importantly, we would like to thank the government of Qatar for inviting us to the show.”

He emphasised that the expo provides the gallery important information that is essential to their customer service policies.

Asked about expected boost in sales after the expo, Rjeily emphasised that Pari Gallery’s priority when joining the expo is visibility and customer interaction rather than profit.
