Qatar Career Fair (QCF), a member of Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development (QF), recently celebrated the conclusion of the second edition of its Winter Career Camp by awarding completion certificates to participants.
The camp aims to equip young Qatari students with the necessary skills to help them choose their future career paths. This reflects QF’s mission to invest in human capital, which, in turn, will help establish a progressive and knowledge-based economy.

Participants share feedback on the activities of the Winter Career Camp.

The camp featured a series of stimulating career-oriented workshops that were tailored to help students discover their talents. They included a team building session, which aimed to encourage participants to work together, and an ‘I Paint My Future’ workshop, which helped students visualise their professional future.
Abdulla A al-Mansoori, director, Qatar Career Fair, said: “Today we are celebrating the students that took part in this year’s camp. Through the programme, they have acquired the skills and knowledge that will enable them to make a more informed decision about their future.
“This camp is part of a series of year-round integrated programmes and initiatives organised by Qatar Career Fair, which are designed to prepare young men and women professionally. We urge the Qatari youth to participate in these programmes and activities to be better prepared to tackle the challenges posed by the local labor market, bolstering the growth of their country.”
During the camp, participants also visited Texas A&M University at Qatar and Northwestern University in Qatar to learn more about the variety of academic programmes and admission requirements. The students were given the opportunity to experience university life, as well as tour the available facilities.
Students also visited Rumailah Hospital, toured the simulation station at Qatar Aeronautical College, and explored Al-Rayyan TV studios.
