Another hot day is expected in the country today, the Qatar Met Department has said. The mercury level went past the 40C mark yesterday. In a tweet yesterday afternoon, the Met Department said the temperature had reached a high of 42C in Al Batna and Turayna and ranged between 35C and 41C in other parts of the country. Today’s forecast says it will be hot during the day and slightly dusty conditions are also expected. A maximum temperature of 42C is expected in Doha today.
