A Qatar Charity (QC) delegation organised a visit to the Al Noor Institute for the Blind recently and presented more than 50 copies of Mushaf Basirah, a digital braille version of the Qur’an.
Dr Noura Abdullah al-Kubaisi, director, Al Noor Institute for The Blind, said that the visit of the QC delegation left an impact on the professors and students of the institute.
Dr al-Kubaisi pointed out that the institute will co-ordinate with QC to print copies of the Qur’an in braille for distribution to the blind inside and outside Qatar.
Ali Algharib, public relations director at QC, said that it was proud of the collaboration with Al Noor Institute which provides valuable services for
the blind.
Mushaf Basirah consists of an index printed in braille with an electronic pen that helps the blinds read the Qur’an easily.
