Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB) unveiled a ‘Tamim Al Majd’ mural during an official signing ceremony held at the bank’s headquarters on Grand Hamad Street.
Present on the occasion were QIB chairman Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad bin Jassim bin Jaber al-Thani and the board of directors.
In parallel, the inauguration of similar murals took place at several key branches of the bank across the country for staff and customers, QIB said in a press statement.
Inauguration of the ‘Tamim Al Majd’ mural “demonstrates the support and loyalty of QIB’s management and staff to Qatar and the leadership of His Highness the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani”, the statement notes.
Commenting on the bank’s participation in the initiative, Sheikh Jassim said: “Each and every one of our employees is committed to serving this nation and its great people. As the first Islamic bank in the country and as an active contributor to Qatar’s thriving economy, we are proud to stand here and show our loyalty to His Highness the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani.”
The bank revealed ‘Tamim Al Majd’ murals at four different branches in Qatar: Al Khor, Al Gharafa (Q-Mall), Salwa Road and Al Wakrah. The murals were received with great enthusiasm from employees and customers alike, the bank stressed.
