Ooredoo was the official telecommunications sponsor for the Global Dryland Alliance Founding Conference, exchanging Internet of Things best practices to enable global food security.
The Global Dryland Alliance is an international organisation that shares knowledge, assists in agricultural development, and provides mutual assistance in times of need. The conference, which was held yesterday, brought together 25 delegations to sign the founding treaty.
Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad bin Nasser al-Thani, Ooredoo Qatar’s chief business officer, represented Ooredoo Qatar at the conference on behalf of the company’s CEO Waleed al-Sayed.
