Strong winds are expected in the country by Thursday afternoon, the Qatar Met department has said.
Some offshore areas, too, are likely to see strong winds and high seas by Thursday night, according to the weather office.
The Met department also said in a tweet on Wednesday that the chances of rain will improve by Thursday afternoon, even as poor visibility is once again forecast in inland areas in the early hours of the day due to foggy conditions.
The wind speed may go up to 22 knots inshore by the afternoon and 23 knots offshore, with the sea level rising to 7ft in some places.
The detailed forecast says hazy to foggy/misty conditions are likely to prevail at first, followed by a hot day and slight dust. There is also a chance of local raincloud formation in some places. Visibility, meanwhile, may drop to 2km or less in some inland areas.
Slightly dusty conditions, meanwhile, are expected in offshore areas at times.
The maximum and minimum temperatures in Doha are expected to be 28C and 38C, respectively. Overall in the country, the likely minimum temperature is 22C in Abu Samra.
