SalamAir, Oman's first budget airline, will start flying to Doha on November 22, operating five weekly flights from Muscat International Airport to Hamad International Airport.
Oman News Agency (ONA) quoted CEO of SalamAir Captain Mohamed Ahmed as saying that the launch of SalamAir's eighth destination (Doha) is one step closer towards achieving its objectives, which will benefit the country by linking it to many thriving tourism, commercial and economic hubs in the region.
He noted that SalamAir enjoys the advantage of flexibility which allows it to shift and adapt its services to cater to demand, noting that the airline is planning to add four A320 aircraft to its fleet in 2018 to meet the need of its expanding network of destinations.
