The
National Service Authority organised the Miqdam first obstacles track
military championship, the Directorate of Defence Communication
announced yesterday.
The championship was held under the patronage of
HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs
Dr Khalid bin Mohamed al-Attiyah and with the presence of the Qatar
Armed Forces (QAF) Chief of Staff HE Lt Gen Ghanem bin Shaheen
al-Ghanem.
A total of 12 QAF units participated in the championship,
which falls in line with the aim of continuing to support QAF and
achieve the highest levels of combat readiness.
Miqdam championship
is one of a series of professional military championships, aiming to
improve combat physique of all QAF personnel.
HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs Dr Khalid bin Mohamed al-Attiyah honours QAF personnel on the occasion.
