Qatar’s exclusive GMC dealer Mannai Trading Co, in partnership with the US embassy in Doha, organised a special event featuring the GMC Terrain, a crossover SUV manufactured by General Motors.
The event supported the US embassy’s Discover America Festival, which took place from October 24 to November 16, 2017, and included a series of events, activities and special promotions across Doha, showcasing the United States’ contributions to commerce, food, art, culture and education.
Participants in the event also had the opportunity to win GMC Weekend vouchers.
Winners were announced on the GMC Qatar Facebook page.
The Terrain – currently being offered at an EMI of QR1,555 – features front and rear fascia with satin-chrome accents, LED daytime running lamps and a signature Denali grille for a bold look that is distinctively GMC, according to a press statement.
The vehicle is “packed with safety features”, including six standard airbags as well as anti-lock brakes, giving the crossover SUV safety features inside and out. For example, the Side Blind Zone Alert and Rear Cross Traffic Alert safety technologies match smart engineering with driver-centric safety, using radar to watch where one cannot, the statement notes.
Mahmoud Skhiri, general sales manager of Mannai Automotive, said: “We are delighted to be extending the GMC brand to the Discover America Festival. The GMC Terrain does offer the all-American way of driving in safety and comfort, and all supplied in Qatar by Mannai.”
He was joined at Landmark during the festival by former chargé d’affaires for the US embassy in Doha, William Grant.
