Kris Aquino discharged from Singapore hospital

Days after posting her photographs confined in a hospital in Singapore, multimedia star Kris Aquino was discharged on Sunday after undergoing a battery of tests in relation to an autoimmune disease.
Aquino, 47, flew to the Lion City on January 6, which, as she had explained in a video upload, was all part of a promise she made to sons, Joshua and Bimby that she would do everything to fight her condition and stay alive for them for another seven years.
Keeping her followers updated on her medical status, Aquino posted photographs from Farrer Park Hospital across her social media accounts. She announced on Sunday that she was released from hospital with a more positive outlook.
“I was discharged with a detailed diagnostic report and I look positively towards the future because now we know what I need to do (my medication, treatments, monitoring, wellness activities, and the complete avoidance of what causes my most severe allergic reactions) for my physical and emotional well-being,” Aquino wrote.
She thanked her doctors, Filipino nurses and other staffers for reassuring her physical healing.
“Singapore has been a blessing in my life, from being a princess in @crazyrichasians, and now receiving clear answers to my worrying health questions. And you have so generously blessed Kuya Josh, Bimb and me because of your prayers and support. I’ll rest a few days then fly home,” she added.
Aquino said her battle with her autoimmune diseases, among them chronic spontaneous urticaria, would be lifelong.
“My lead doctor said although battling my autoimmune diseases will be lifelong, it doesn’t mean I cannot live a complete life. Avoiding my worst allergy triggers, eating healthy, facing whatever stressors may come along armed with faith… I can still look forward to many years with my sons, and also doing the job I love.
“(The doctor) asked for me to have regular, though not strenuous, physical activity. Keeping in mind my limitations and all medication I’m on he suggested walking in the chest deep area of our pool every other day,” Aquino ended.
