The Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar gave his thoughts to the club's website on the French Ligue champions Qatar tour and the mouthwatering challenges to come this season.
Q. How is the Qatar Tour 2019 going?
I really enjoy being able to discover Qatar a little more. I came here a few years ago with the Brazil, right here, to Aspire. I’m very happy to come back here for what is the third or fourth time. Come back to win the 2022 World Cup? I think about it...it’s my dream! Who knows, it could happen here.
Q. PSG are through to the Champions League Last 16 despite a difficult group. Looking back, what’s your analysis of the group stage?
It was difficult! It was a very tough group with two top-class teams and a Crvena Zvezda who surprised everyone. It was very difficult, but we stayed focussed, we played well at the times it was needed, and we qualified.
Q. What do you think of the draw with Manchester United your next opponents?
It’s a good draw, I like playing against good teams. Manchester United are a great club, one the biggest in the world, with top-class players who can decide games. So I think it’ll be a great game for those who love football.
