The region’s leading local tech platform talabat, concluded the 'Back to School' campaign in partnership with Education Above All Foundation (EAA) to help impoverished children access quality education.
The campaign included various initiatives including donating QR1 to EAA each time a customer placed an order on the talabat app on August 19 and 26 from selected restaurants, a statement said Wednesday.
Additionally, talabat distributed school snacks to children attending Al Salam schools in Doha, an initiative by EAA, to provide out-of-school children with quality education. The snacks were offered by Ansar Gallery and Friendly Food Qatar.
Commenting on the campaign, Francisco Miguel de Sousa, managing director of talabat said, “We fully trust Education Above All’s mission to provide quality education to impoverished children around the world. We are honoured to take this partnership to the next level by launching the back-to-school campaign on our platform and giving our community the opportunity to help children access quality education.”
“We are pleased to support initiatives that will raise awareness while also allowing the community to donate through our #TechForGood campaigns” adds de Sousa.
Customers can download the talabat application through the iOS App Store, Google Playstore, and Huawei App Gallery.
