Academic and scientific research officials at the Pak Shama School

Pak Shama School and College has held an international competition as part of the Research Fair 2011-2012 , building up to a final competition to be held in April this year under the direction and criteria of the Supreme Education Council.
The research projects were categorised into primary, preparatory and secondary grade level. Ibrahim Hassan Marhoon, Inspector for Expatriate Schools visited Pak Shama School and witnessed the competition, and was welcomed by M A Shahid, president, School Management Committee. Marhoon showed his satisfaction over the research projects, as a panel of two external and three internal judges did the evaluations to choose the winners from each grade.
Nazeer Hussain , a Salinity research expert from the Ministry of Agriculture and Riaz Ahmed Wahed, an expert from Agricultural Atomic Energy Radiation and Chemical Protection Department - Ministry of Environment, were among the external judges and Iqbal Mohal, head of Physics department was the internal judge to evaluate science projects. Sabooh and Moeen Akhtar, English department, were judges of the humanities projects.
For science projects, Siyyam, Abdullah, Warda Khalid, Maryam Tariq, Maira Javed, Mehek Batool were nominated as winners and for humanities projects, Mahnoor Ijaz, Maryam Suliman, Sabhat Irshad, Iqrah Anzar, Mohamed Rehan and Salman Jawed were winners.
Irshad Ali, Mohamed Rafiq, Amjad Ali, Musarrat, Raza Hussain, Murad Ali and Shuja were among the supervisors of the winning projects.
Nabila Kaukab, school principal, appreciated the students and all the participants. She lauded their efforts to complete the projects in accordance with the outline given by Supreme Education Council.
