Staff Major General al-Khulaifi presenting certificates to a CBSD graduate |
The ceremony, held last Thursday, was attended by the Director General of Public Security, Staff Major General Saad bin Jassim al-Khulaifi.
CBSD Director Navy Staff Brigadier Ali Ahmed al-Badeed, Police Training Institute (PTI) Director Mohamed Abdullah al-Mahanna and a number of officers from the department also attended the programme held at the CBSD headquarters.
The courses included a foundation course on marine qualification (two batches), an introduction course on international ship and port facility security (ISPS) code, and a foundation course in swimming (two batches) and a boat captain’s course.
Al-Khulaifi awarded certificates to 74 participants who completed the courses which took 43 study hours, and honoured the best performers .
