Qatar Scientific Club at the Ministry of Sports and Youth is organising a variety of specialised workshops and programmes as part of the 'Scientific Winter 24' camp.The camp, which started Sunday will continue until January 8. The activities focus on programming and technology-themed events, while covering other fields such as mechanics, general sciences, and engineering, as they are considered fundamental to science and knowledge.Participants will learn to assemble and solder electronic circuits, understand their components, design 3D models using Tinkercad, and print them using 3D printers.Besides, they will explore troubleshooting and error fixing using measurement and processing tools.A 'Be a doctor' workshop will explore the liver's functions in the human body, its role in producing vitamins and proteins, and the main functions of the heart through the minor and major circulatory systems. They will also learn about the kidneys' role in removing toxins from the body and perform dissections to study the parts of the heart, liver, and kidneys.Another workshop on 'Reverse Engineering Strategies,' aims to introduce participants to the role of reverse engineering in improving industrial efficiency, its feasibility in scientific research and technological development, and its impact on patents and intellectual property. Besides, it will discuss the challenges faced by major companies due to the growing use of reverse engineering and its effects on artificial intelligence in the industrial sector.
