Qatar Sports for All Federation (QSFA) launched many sports events and activities in line with the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 as part of its 365-Day Activity program.
Held in Madinatna, a new city set up for the World Cup fans and Barahat Al Janoub area in Al Wakrah district, the three-hour daily events were inaugurated before the World Cup opening game and run through the end of the tournament.
The activities include simple fitness, football and basketball activities that allow World Cup fans to practice sports. They seek to highlight the importance for visitors during their stay in Doha to continue practicing sports, maintain a healthy lifestyle, and present a distinguished image of the Qatari society's keenness to exercise sports to the World Cup fans.
The 365 Day Activity Program is one of the most important year-round programs organized by the QSFA in public parks for free, to encourage everyone to practice sports on a daily and continuous basis, through fitness and exercise sessions that are offered to men in the air-conditioned Aspire, Al Rayyan and Al Gharrafa parks.
The program also includes activities for women and children that are held in Al Luqta Park and the Women's Sports Committee, under the supervision of specialized trainers.
