At least three people died, and others were injured, as a result of a tornado that hit the state of Louisiana, south of US.
During the past two days, a tornado hit the state from north to south, including the city of New Orleans, killing at least three people, in addition to injuring others, US media quoted local authorities as saying.
The tornado resulted in damage to homes, shattering windows of buildings, and power outages for about 40,000 people statewide.
In 2005, the state of Louisiana was hit by Hurricane Katrina, which was of the fifth degree, and left more than 1,800 dead, and the dams collapsed under the weight of the water and flooded 80 percent of the city of New Orleans.
