Qatar National Day is celebrated on 18th December each year. The National Day is a day to rejoice the unique history and heritage of the people of Qatar and to preserve and revive ancient traditions. In preparation for this grand occasion, Doha Oasis, one of the most important multi-use development projects in the region, has prepared a wide range of activities for all categories of society of all ages. All Doha Oasis facilities have been decorated with the flags of the State of Qatar and the slogan of the National Day, which is being held this year under the slogan “Our Unity is the Source of Our Strength", which added a lot of excellence and aesthetic style to Doha Oasis.
Doha Oasis management confirmed that although every year the event is celebrated with a unique vibe, but this year, the occasion is extra special due to the FIFA 2022 hosted by Qatar, which creates an incentive for a strong launch towards a bright future for the country. Confirming that the country's celebrations of the National Day this year are different and distinct.
Doha Oasis management has prepared a wide range of events in the Banyan Tree Hotel and Residence, Quest City, VOX Cinemas, the prestigious Parisian fashion store, PRINTEMPS, in addition to Doha Oasis restaurants and cafes.
• Parisian PRINTEMPS store
The PRINTEMPS store will witness festivities from the 15th of December to the 18th of December. On Thursday, December 15th, the store will celebrate in the traditional way and provide a traditional atmosphere that transports guests to the past, including the traditional majlis, serving Arabic coffee, dates, the art of henna painting and forming balloons in professional and creative ways, and this will be from six in the evening until ten thirty in the evening.
On Friday, December 16th, the store will provide face painting and provide a wonderful opportunity to interact with falcons and take souvenir photos, as well as the art of making professional beads, and that will be from four in the evening until ten in the evening.
On Saturday, December 17, there will also be a traditional majlis, formation of balloons that add joy to the faces of children, making bracelets, and the art of face painting, from 12:00 pm until 6:00 pm.
On Sunday, December 18, Arabic coffee, dates, and henna painting that reflect the refined Qatari taste will be served, as well as balloon formation, from two o'clock in the evening until six o'clock in the evening.
• VOX Cinemas
On the occasion of the National Day, Vox Cinemas will display a group of various exclusive films, in conjunction with displaying them in various cinemas around the world, which vary between horror, action, drama and fantasy to make a special memory on this day, and the most important of these films is the science fiction movie “Avatar”. It also offers exclusive meals and a souvenir of an exciting adventure, "Aqua Combo", which includes a large popcorn with blueberry flavor, blue slush, dynamite shrimp or a beef burger, in limited quantities.

In celebration of the National Day, Quest Theme Park launched special offers, as it was offered to purchase Quest general entry tickets at discounted prices on the site and enjoy an adventure like no other!
• Banyan Tree Hotel
The five-star Banyan Tree Hotel is also fully prepared to celebrate the National Day in an atmosphere full of enthusiasm and spirit, including henna painting and enjoying taking pictures with falcons. To create more local flavor and heritage touches to the National Day celebrations, the hotel was decorated with the Qatari flag and the National Day slogan. The hotel staff will welcome guests and visitors, offering Arabic coffee and dates in celebrating this special day. They will also wear traditional Qatari costumes that express the national heritage and highlight Qatari hospitality. In addition, the hotel will organise a wide range of activities that reflect the rich cultural heritage during the period from 17 to 18 December.
