Mowasalat (Karwa) on Wednesday, the 25th day of FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, carried out successful operations with 2,826 buses while transporting 251,557 passengers.
A total of 159,203 passengers were transported by both the Education City and Msheireb Trams from November 20 to December 14 while serving the fans and visitors. Doha Metro and Lusail Tram transported 6,687,498 fans and visitors during November 18- December 14.
The Ministry of Transport tweeted that 10% of championship buses are equipped with lifts and special spaces for wheelchair-bound riders.
