Katara will Sunday culminate its activities accompanying the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 with a special celebration that it has prepared for fans and visitors on the occasion of Qatar National Day. The celebration depicts the "most wonderful meanings of pride and cohesion between the people and the leadership", a press statement notes. Meanwhile, Katara Cultural Village Foundation continued to witness visits by a number of ambassadors and senior guests of the country. On Friday, Katara general manager Prof Dr Khalid bin Ibrahim al-Sulaiti met with Prince Mansour bin Khalid bin Abdullah al-Farhan al-Saud, ambassador of Saudi Arabia, and took him on a tour of the Katara Traditional Dhow Festival, during which he learned about the various sections and the various heritage products on offer.
The Katara amphitheatre also witnessed a great turnout for a lecture -- 'Unity, Hope and Humanity: Reflections' by Prod Noman Ali Khan and Sheikh Siraj Wahaj.

The World Cup guests pointed out that their visit to Katara and the distinguished activities allowed them to learn about the authentic Arab and Islamic culture and its noble values, in addition to acquainting them with the cultures of the world in one place through a rich programme that reflects the cultural and artistic diversity of the participating countries.
Eduardo from Brazil expressed happiness at visiting Katara, expressing great admiration for the spacious place, the facilities, good organisation and the hospitality, in addition to the various festivals, events and activities that Katara has held in its corridors, squares, halls and theatres, indicating that he did not expect to see this. He praised the elegance of the high-quality events that blended fun, entertainment, suspense, education and knowledge. Tania from Ukraine expressed happiness at the events presented by Katara, as well as her great admiration for the cultural neighbourhood, which presented the world with the Qatari culture in its best and finest forms and forms, adding: “I was very pleased to visit the cultural neighbourhood, the wonderful place that presents a clear, comprehensive and intense picture about Qatar, its culture, heritage and arts."
Matthew from England described Katara as an ideal place to spend the most beautiful times because it contains stunning views that combine the "green nature and blue water", embodied in the Katara Hills and Katara Beach. He stressed that he found Katara a happy haven that provides all the luxury, comfort and pleasure for visitors and guests. He also praised the good organisation, high-end services and high-level Qatari hospitality provided by individuals with a high degree of kindness, generosity, courtesy and sophistication.
For his part, Abdul Karim Arab, residing in Austria, expressed admiration for the Katara Mosque, which he described as the "most beautiful mosque" in Qatar. “We appreciated the activities launched by Katara in various languages of the world, which enhanced cultural awareness of the tolerance of Islam and its lofty message,” he added.
