Three police officers were killed Monday and five others were injured in Jordan during a raid on the hideout of a man suspected of killing a police colonel while on duty in the southern Maan governorate a few days ago.
According to a brief statement issued by the Public Security Department (PSD) carried by (Petra) news Agency, the suspect was killed during the raid, while eight others were apprehended.
The suspect is allegedly responsible for killing the assistant director of the Maan Police directorate, Col. Abdulrazaq Dalabeeh, while officers were responding to riots in the Hussainiya district of Maan, according to the PSD.
