US President Joe Biden met today his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelensky. The latter is making his first trip outside Ukraine since the onset of the war with Russia on Feb 24.
Biden pledged, during the meeting, to continue enhancing Ukraine's ability to defend itself, particularly in terms of aerial defense. He stressed that the US shares Kiev's aspirations for just peace. Biden renewed his accusation of Putin, saying the Russian President of using winter as a weapon against Ukrainians by targeting critical infrastructure like electricity and water.
