The Ukrainian emergency service said in a statement that three of its members were killed in a mine explosion while they were clearing the mines from the Kherson region, which was recently recovered by Ukrainian forces, Ukrainian news agency (Ukrinform) reported Sunday.
The Russian forces had held control over Kherson before the start of the Russian military operation on February 24. The Ukrainian forces regained the city during a counter-attack that led to the withdrawal of the Russian forces.
