QU turns Argentine team's quarters at the campus into a mini museum

Qatar University (QU) has earmarked the quarters where the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 champions, Argentina led by captain Lionel Messi stayed at the university campus into a mini museum. QU announced the same through its social media handles Tuesday.QU campus was the base camp for the La Albiceleste for practice during the Qatar World Cup along with Spain. QU had opened three sports complexes for the teams to practise outdoor, in addition to the indoor gym facilities.QU has decorated the place in the blue and white theme replicating the colour of the jersey of the Argentinian team. The university has adorned the rooms with photographs of the jerseys of the players and the names of several players written over them. There are also autographs by the players and a large Qatari and Argentine flag adorn the entrance of the area.The entire structure is decorated in blue with the pictures of the players and the logo of the Argentinian Football Association (AFA) at the opening door. In addition ‘Vamos Argentina’ is also written in bold over the building. The lobby of the place is filled with blue sofa sets and the facades with pictures of the team members and its halls filled with posters of the World Cup champions.QU has also released a video which starts showing ‘Heroes Residence’ and accompanied by the famous Argentine chant which the Argentine fans used to sing to support their team on and off the field.
