The third edition of the Qatar Tennis Federation (QTF) Junior Open Tournament concluded today at Khalifa International Complex.
Qatar's Khadija Gassama won the title of girls 18 years and under category after defeating Janna Al Sheikh, who won second place in this category.
In the boys 18 years and under category, Arthur O'Sullivan was the winner, while his brother James O'Sullivan was the runner up.
In other categories, the Qatari player Dana Khalifa won the title of the girls 14 years and under category, while Dana Al Sheikh finished second.
Seif Elkadim won the title of the boys 14 years and under category, while Adham Elkadim was the runner up.
In girls 12 years and under category, Dorsaf Al-Thani was the winner, while was Eva Savineau the runner up. In boys 12 years and under category was David Raducan the winner and Tameem Samara was the runner up.
The crowning ceremony was supervised by Secretary General of the Qatar Tennis, Squash and Badminton Federation Tariq Zainal.
In a statement, Zainal noted the efforts of all those who organized this tournament and their contribution to its success, stressing that the calendar of tournaments for the year 2023 is witnessing great momentum at the local, regional and international levels, adding that the programming of the tournaments targets various age groups.
