The Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) has announced the resumption of the memory clinic services at Rawdat Al Khail Health Center in cooperation with Hamad Medical Corporation. The service will be provided by a specialised team under the supervision of consultants in the field of geriatrics, psychiatrics and occupational health with the support of nurses from PHCC.
Primary Health Care Corporation pointed out that the memory clinic services would be available in three health centers which are Leabaib, Rawdat Al Khail and Al Wajbah, pointing out that a thorough assessment is offered to patients over the age of 60 to detect any memory related concerns.
The memory clinic will resume receiving patients at Rawdat Al Khail Health Center starting Wednesday Jan.4, PHCC said, pointing that patients need to be referred to the clinic by the family physician in the mentioned health centers.
