The Joint Committee for Rain Emergencies at the Ministry of Municipality has made intensified efforts to pump out rain water, with the rain emergency teams working non-stop for 24 hours since Tuesday morning. The teams which had 624 workers and employees, used 221 equipment and pumps, clearing 4,190 tanker loads of rain water. Besides, 195 related reports and applications to clear waterlogging were received through the unified call centre and referred to the entities concerned. All requests were handled promptly.
