The rainy spell seems over for now as the Qatar Met department has said clear weather is expected in the country Sunday.
The marine warning, however, will remain in place Sunday as strong winds and high seas are expected in offshore areas.
Qatar has been receiving moderate to heavy rain for the past few days, with thundery conditions prevailing at times.
According to data released by the Met department, Ras Laffan received the highest rainfall on Friday at 37.1mm, followed by Al Jumayliyah at 36.9mm, Al Shehaimiya at 36.8mm, Dukhan at 34.5mm, Al Khor at 34.3mm, Umm Bab at 34.1mm, Hamad International Airport area at 29.1mm, Al Sheehaniya at 27.9mm, Qatar University at 27.2mm, Mesimeer at 24.6mm, Doha at 24.5mm, Al Wakra at 22.7mm, Mekaines and Al Karana at 21.6mm, and Sealine at 21.3mm.
Rain and cloudy conditions were reported from different places Saturday as well, with the conditions improving as the day progressed.
Sunday's detailed forecast says clear conditions are expected in the country along with some clouds, while it will be cold at night. Offshore areas will see partly cloudy conditions at times.
A lowest temperature of 13C is expected in Al Khor and Abu Samra Sunday, while the temperature will range from 14C to 19C in Doha, according to the forecast.
