China has successfully launched 14 new communications satellites into space from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center in north China's Shanxi Province.
The satellites were launched Sunday morning, on board a Long March-2D rocket , and the satellites have entered their planned orbits, according to China's (Xinhua) News Agency.
This was the 462nd flight mission using the Long March rocket series.
