The 16th Toyota Dream Car Art contest organised by Abdullah Abdulghani & Bros Co (AAB), in association with Toyota, is getting a good response from children across Qatar.The competition began on November 24 last year and concludes on January 31, 2023. AAB’s Toyota showroom at City Center Doha is getting a large number of drawings every day, AAB has said in a statement.The competition is open to children residing in Qatar across three age groups: under 7 years, 8-11 years and 12-15 years. Dream Car is a global competition that allows emerging youth talents to unleash their creative imagination and express their ideas in shaping the future of the transportation sector."At AAB, we believe in the power of creativity and design to change the world and build a better future for everyone. The Toyota Dream Car Art Contest creates an opportunity to take this belief forward and continue the passion for creating amazing experiences. We are proud to support the next generation of creators by offering them a platform to explore and develop their ideas with expert assistance, together with the opportunity to showcase their designs," the statement explained.The top three artworks from each age category in the Qatar National Contest will be announced on the Toyota Qatar website and prizes will be awarded to the winners. Both original artworks and digital data will be acceptable. The recommended size is A3 or tabloid size. (A4, quarter and octavo sizes are also acceptable)Any drawing material can be used, such as colour pencils, markers, crayons or paints. Multiple submissions are allowed from the same person; however, only one prize will be awarded per person.The artworks that will not be accepted are as follows:
- Collaborative artwork drawn by multiple individuals
- Artwork created by a person other than the participant
- A piece with incomplete entry forms or missing information
- Drawings fetching photographs
- Drawings that resemble famous paintings and previous Toyota Dream Car Art Contest artworks
- Drawings that include trademarked characters, logos and specific goods
