With an objective to provide students an exposure to the novel scientific techniques and an experience as young innovators, Rajagiri Public School (RPS), Doha organised Rajagiri Expo-2022 recently.
Anand Victor, principal of Scholars’ International School, Doha, who inaugurated the event, remarked that the expo will enable the students to discover their talents in new areas, help them to use the resources within them and be transformers rather than conformers.
RPS academics director Dr Prasant Palakkappillil observed that such events will help to develop scientific temper and the spirit of enquiry in students. Around 250 exhibits were put up by students of Grade 5 to 11, in four categories - working model, still model, charts and presentations. The children explained about their models and innovations to the visitors. The Millet Stall reminded the visitors about celebrating 2023 as the Year of Millets. Harish Thalapil co-ordinated the expo with the support of all departments and parents.
