42nd meeting of the Council of Arab Ministers of Social Affairs takes place

The activities of the 42nd meeting of the Council of Arab Ministers of Social Affairs started in Doha on Sunday. The two-day preparatory meeting for senior officials began at Hotel Sheraton on Sunday morning in the presence of Dr Abdullah bin Ahmed al-Waheebey, Deputy Minister of Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, Saudi Arabia, and Dr Ghanem Mubarak al-Kuwari, Assistant Undersecretary for Social Affairs at the Ministry of Social Development and Family, Qatar.
The opening ceremony marked the handing over the chair of the council to Qatar from Saudi Arabia.
