The Israeli occupation authorities and settlers carried out more than 700 attacks against Palestinians and their properties during the month of January, said the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission.
It said in its monthly report on the occupation violations and colonial expansion that these attacks ranged from a direct assault on people, vandalism of property, leveling of lands, uprooting trees, seizure and demolition of property, closures, barriers, and physical injuries.
Most of these attacks were in the Nablus Governorate (131), followed by Jenin Governorate (128), then Bethlehem Governorate (105).
The head of the commission Moayyad Shaban said that the number of attacks carried out by settlers amounted to 150 and that they attempted to establish six new settlement outposts in different areas of the occupied West Bank but mainly in the Nablus Governorate, with 72 attacks.
He said that in January, the Israeli occupation authorities issued 55 demolition and stop construction orders under the pretext of construction without a permit, most of which were concentrated in the Hebron, Bethlehem, and Salfit governorates.
Shaban said that 81 demolitions for 94 homes and commercial facilities were recorded this month concentrating mainly in the Jerusalem, Jericho, and Hebron governorates.
Shaban noted that the occupation authorities had approved three new plans to expand colonial settlements in the illegal settlements of Emmanuel, built on Salfit lands, and Gilo, built on Bethlehem lands.
