Bilateral cooperation relations between the two countries were reviewed during the meeting.
The two sides affirmed, during the meeting, the depth of relations between the two brotherly countries under the leadership of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani and King Abdullah II of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. Also, they stressed the importance of maintaining communication and joint consultation to serve the interests of the two brotherly countries.
Al Safadi stated that the stances of the two countries are in the interest of serving the causes of our nation, foremost of which is the Palestinian cause, confirming that Jordan, under the leadership of King Abdullah II, will remain a defender of the justice of the Palestinian cause, stressing that the Jordanians stand united behind the Hashemite Custodianship of Islamic and Christian holy sites in Jerusalem.
Al Safadi congratulated Qatar on its success in organising FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, as an important event watched by millions around the world, affirming that it presented a bright image of our nation and culture.
In turn, HE the Ambassador confirmed that the bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries are built on solid and strong foundations, and are witnessing progress in all fields, praising the wise leadership of King Abdullah II. He reiterated Qatar's stance supporting the Hashemite Custodianship of Islamic and Christian holy sites in Jerusalem.
