Aster DM Healthcare, which operates one of the largest private healthcare networks in Qatar with five medical centres and a multi-speciality hospital, has launched the Aster Nurture programme to provide parents-to-be with comprehensive pre-birth and post-birth care.
Aster Nurture is a programme that aims at nurturing, caring and protecting the mother and the newborn baby from the time when the mother conceives until birth and beyond.
"We bring to you a special discount price on our Maternity Packages, especially for expatriate moms-to be who are unable to travel to their home countries for the special time in their lives. The Aster Nurture programme provides an array of services for couples before and after childbirth.
These include: Obstetric care comprising prenatal check-ups, ultrasound scans, prenatal testing, delivery, and postpartum care. Gynaecological care: Prenatal counselling, well-woman exams and treatment for associated gynaecological conditions during pre and postnatal period.
Maternal-fetal medicine: High-risk pregnancy management, including prenatal diagnosis and treatment for complicated pregnancies.
Neonatal care: Newborn care, neonatal care for premature or sick infants. Labour and delivery services: Normal delivery, epidural, pain management options, and caesarean delivery. Family planning services: Contraceptive counselling and education on family planning options. Reproductive endocrinology and infertility services: diagnosis and treatment of infertility. Lactation support: breastfeeding education and support.
