Birla Public School students, who excelled in the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) class X and XII exams, were awarded certificates in the recent 35th Principals Conference organised by the CBSE Gulf Sahodaya at the Indian embassy in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The conference was attended by almost 150 principals of the Central Board of Secondary Education- affiliated schools in the member states of the Gulf Co-operation Council. Embassy counsellor Moin Akhtar addressed the gathering and emphasised the importance of imparting quality education as high priority in the CBSE-affiliated schools.
Dr Joseph Emmanuel, director of academics, CBSE, enriched the session by stressing on the need for maintaining integrity towards the inherent values of the education system. Felicitation of the Gulf and Chapter-wise toppers was another highlight of the day.
Birla Public School academic director and principal Harish Sanduja received the awards on behalf of the students. The toppers are: Farah Nazeer Shees, Nihal Ashik and Mahika Rao (grade X), Shaymanti Bhowmik, Jui Baliga, Mohamed Sahal, Aditya Gupta, Rana Maihar Pratap Singh and Anndria Jino (grade XII).
