Noble International School (NIS) celebrated its 16th Annual Day - Noble Vezeto 2022-23 recently at Mesaieed Recreation and Business Complex with the theme 'We are one’.
A cultural programme featuring as many as 1,300 students was the highlight.
Indian ambassador Dr Deepak Mittal was the chief guest and the Department of Urban Planning's Urban Design Department head Juma Sabah Juma, the guest of honour. The chief patron engineer Ali Jassim Khalifa Jassim al-Malki, chairman Hussain Mohamed U, general secretary Basheer K P, and other management committee members, along with principal Shibu Abdul Rasheed and other officials were present.
Vice principal (administration) Robin K Jose welcomed the gathering. The chairman in his presidential address expressed happiness in the progressive growth of NIS since inception. Ambassador Dr Mittal in his inaugural address urged the students to give their best always and stated that the students of this era have the ability and calibre to escalate India to a developed nation, on her 100th year of Independence.
The principal presented the annual report highlighting the achievements in academics and co-curricular activities. The Grade XII and X, CBSE high achievers were felicitated by the guests. Awards were presented to students for achievements in various inter-school and international competitions.
The annual magazine ‘The Nobiliary 2022-23’ was released by the chief guest in the presence of members of the management. Vice principal (CCA) Shihabudeen Maruthath proposed a vote of thanks.
