The Qatar Armed Forces provided urgent humanitarian aid and airlifted it to the sisterly Republic of Turkiye on board of the Qatari Amiri Air Force planes, after the recent earthquake in Turkiye.
The planes heading to Turkiye carried four "Agusta" helicopters, maintenance mechanisms and equipment to support those affected in the affected area, and a medical team to work in field hospitals and provide medical evacuation.
The aid included a set of family tents, foodstuffs, winter parcels, family hygiene baskets, a shelter package, blankets, and other necessary items, in addition to field hospitals provided by the Qatar Red Crescent Society, Qatar Fund for Development, and Qatar Charity.
