6.8 earthquake strikes Eastern Tajikistan districts

An earthquake of 6.8 magnitude on the Richter scale struck the eastern Tajikistan districts on Thursday morning.
The European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) said that the earthquake center was 77 km depth and about 63 km west of Murghob District near the border with China.
There was no immediate reports of victims or material losses as a result of the earthquake.
