The Ministry of Public Health announced Wednesday the working hours in the public healthcare sector during the Eid Al-Fitr holiday. The ministry said that all emergency and inpatient services at Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) hospitals, including Pediatric Emergency Centers, will operate 24/7 throughout the holiday. The ambulance service will also continue to operate around the clock. Additionally, 20 out of 31 health centers affiliated with the Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) will remain open during the Eid Al-Fitr holiday. The corporation will also provide urgent care services 24/7 at 12 health centers, including six designated for pediatric urgent care cases. The Ministry of Public Health has directed all government health institutions to announce the detailed working hours of their services during the holiday. The ministry also announced the working hours for several of its service departments during the Eid break. The Medical Relations and Treatment Abroad Department will receive visitors at the Ministry of Public Health building from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, except on the first day of Eid and on Fridays and Saturdays. The Newborn Registration Office at the Womens Wellness and Research Center will operate from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 pm throughout the Eid holiday, excluding the first day of Eid, Friday, and Saturday. The Death Registration Unit will also receive visitors during the entire Eid Al-Fitr holiday at the Unified Humanitarian Services Office from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 pm The ministry further noted that the unified healthcare sector call center (16000) operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
