The National Cyber Security Agency (NCSA) organised a meeting with a number of entities from different sectors to discuss the National Cyber Security Strategy (2023-2028).|The meeting, according to an official statement, was held to complement the efforts of NCSA in engaging entities in unifying visions and aspirations of the country’s strategy.Dana Yousef al-Abdulla, director of National Cyber Assurance and Governance Affairs, presented the action plan that began a few months ago in order to prepare for the draft of the National Cyber Security Strategy in collaboration with a large number of entities.Al-Abdulla discussed the main components of the strategy which were set in line with the requirements of the Planning and Statistics Authority and in line with Qatar National Vision 2030. She stressed the agency’s keenness to align the strategy with the country’s aspirations in view of the existing challenges and opportunities.She affirmed that the principles of shared responsibility and unifying efforts will reflect the identity of the National Cyber Security Strategy, which in return will enhance the strategic goals and initiatives during the next five years.The National Cyber Security Strategy was assigned to NCSA according to Amiri Decree No 1 for 2021, in addition to supervising its implementation and monitoring of performance.The participants expressed their appreciation for the efforts of NCSA, which will facilitate the upcoming stages of preparing and launching the strategy.
