Mega Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan recently took to his blog to confirm the news about his injury on the sets of the upcoming Nag Ashwin film, Project K. Amitabh Bachchan got injured during an action sequence and suffered a muscle tear to the right rib cage. Big B shared the update on his blog and said that the shoot had to be cancelled as it will take him weeks to recover from the injury. He assured his fans that he is now recuperating after suffering the injury.
Following the injury, Amitabh consulted a doctor and underwent a CT scan at the AIG Hospital in Hyderabad and flew back home. Doctors have advised him rest as the injury will take at least a few weeks to get better.
“In Hyderabad at the shoot for Project K, during an action shot, I have got injured .. rib cartilage popped broke and muscle tear to the right rib cage .. canceled shoot .. did Doctor consult and scan by CT at the AIG Hospital in Hyderabad and flown back home .. strapping has been done and rest been advocated .. yes painful .. on movement and breathing .. will take some weeks they say before some normalisation will occur .. some medication is on also for pain ..” wrote the 80-year-old actor.
Amitabh Bachchan said that he will be available on mobile but is mostly on bed rest. Further, he said that it would be difficult to see fans outside Jalsa this evening and advised them to not visit his banglow. A sea of fans gathers at Amitabh Bachchan's Jalsa every Sunday where the superstar greets his fans and waves at them. "I won't be able to meet my well wishers at Jalsa Gate this evening. So, do not come and inform as many people you can," he said before concluding with "Rest all is well".
